Terms and Conditions for Carriage of Goods

• Nature, content, conditions and value of the consignments are unknown to AKS TRANS SOLUTION PRIVATE LIMITED (hereinafter called the company). All consignments are carried entirely at the owner's risk.
• The Company is not responsible for internal damages to package contents, unpacked goods, perishable items, or brittle articles.
• The company is not responsible for contents if packages are delivered in the same apparent condition as received.
• All "Paid & To Pay" goods not collected within the specified period will incur additional freight charges:
  • 7 to 15 days – 20% extra
  • 16 to 30 days – 30% extra
  • Beyond 30 days – 100% extra + other charges
  • Minimum demurrage: Rs. 10 per parcel per day
• Parcel timing, departures, and arrivals are not guaranteed and may change without notice. Delivery will be made within a reasonable time.
• The consignor is responsible for incorrect declaration of goods and must compensate the company for any resulting damages or expenses.
• Dangerous, inflammable, acid, and liquid items will not be accepted.
• The Company reserves the right to accept or reject goods without assigning any reason.
• The consignor must provide all required legal documents for transport. The Company is not responsible for goods detained or seized due to document issues.
• The consignor must provide required excise/sales tax documents where applicable. The Company is not responsible for detention or confiscation by authorities.
• Consignments not collected within:
  • 20 days (TO PAY)
  • 30 days (PAID)
  will be moved to storage depot without further notice. Delivery requires original LR and payment of all charges.
• No legal claim shall be filed unless a written claim is made within 15 days from booking, arrival, or auction (whichever is later).
• Goods will be delivered only on submission of the original LR.
• In case of disputes, only the courts at PANRUTI shall have jurisdiction. Items like cash, jewellery, mobile phones, etc., are not accepted, and no compensation will be provided for their loss.
• Company liability is limited to 10 times the freight charges or assessed value, whichever is lower, provided claims are made within 90 days.
• The consignor must inform the consignee and send the original LR for delivery.
• Loading and unloading charges may apply at booking or delivery locations.
• Terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice.
• Luggage liability is limited to Rs. 100/-.
